Trained at premier institutes in India and abroad, he has made significant contributions to the field of nephrology.

  • Excelled academically from school days, achieving 22nd State Merit List in SSC and State First in Maharashtra in HSC.
  • Graduated from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospitals, one of the top medical colleges in Maharashtra.
  • Secured an MD Medicine Post Graduate seat at the prestigious Grant Medical College JJ Group Of Hospitals, Mumbai, and served as a lecturer in the Medicine Department.
  • Completed DM in Nephrology at IPGME&R and SSKM Hospitals, Kolkata.
  • Conducted a study screening 10,000 school children in Kolkata for early age kidney disease, recognized by the State Department of Science and Technology of West Bengal and the International Society of Nephrology.

*An embodiment of her dedication to renal pathology is the ownership and management of a fully equipped, state-of-the-art Renal Biopsy Reporting Lab for the last three years. Currently reporting on 150 biopsies a month, this facility stands as a testament to my commitment to excellence in diagnosis and research in the field of nephrology. This venture not only enhances my practical understanding and expertise but also serves as a critical resource for advancing our knowledge and treatment approaches in kidney diseases.

Authorship of ” *Renal Pathology Express: An Essential Companion for a Nephrologist” further underscores her dedication. This book, a product of extensive research and enriched with numerous case studies, serves as an indispensable guide for nephrologists and Pathologists offering them a detailed understanding of the nuances of kidney diseases.

Beyond authorship, her engagement in the medical community through conferences, seminars, and workshops highlights my belief in the paramount importance of continuing medical education. Serving as Vice President of Basic Sciences at the Indian Society Of Organ Transplant (ISOT) and initiating a web-based certification course on Renal Transplant Pathology for Nephrologists and Renal Pathologists are reflective of her endeavor to enhance knowledge and skill sets within this specialized domain.
